SOMERSIDE X VIRGINIA NAPALJARRI SIMS
Our collaboration with Warlukurlangu Artists features Mina Mina Jukurrpa (Mina Mina Dreaming) — a hand-painted artwork by Warlpiri artist Virginia Napaljarri Sims.
Mina Mina is an important ceremonial site for Warlpiri women, located near Lake Mackay on the Western Australia border. The artwork represents the sandhills, soakages, and desert oaks that surround this sacred place, reflecting stories of women’s ceremony and ancestral creation.
Each towel is printed with care, carrying the warmth, depth, and spirit of the artist’s original work — a celebration of Country, culture, and connection.
